abstract space (ver. kkb)

2015. Polyester threads, wooden frame, 1500x1500mm.

Cut out a part of the scenery, disassemble its elements and colors, reconstruct it, and make one abstract piece. Abstract space (ver.kkb) is an installation that superimposes the conceptual work and natural scenery.

Since the 25,000 threads of various colors overlap each other in many layers, the work shows an entirely different aspect depending on the viewing position.

An elusive space appears in the scenery of the thicket, which is visible through the glass.
