2016. Polyester thread, acrylic, plywood, 1200x1200x1800(H)mm.

This work is an image of a mist of light.

Twenty thousand threads stretched up and down form an inverted cone. The colors create a different hue pattern depending on the angle of view (360 degrees around).

Viewed from a distance, they seem to radiate light. Up close, many different colors layered, the sense of depth becomes blurred, the materiality of the thread disappears, and you feel as if you are watching an image or a phenomenon.

光のミストをイメージした作品。　

上下に張った2 万本の糸が、逆円錐台を形成している。色は、周囲360 度見る角度によって異なる色相パターンを成す。

遠くから眺めると、光を放っているようだ。近づいて異なる色が何層にも重なる糸を見ていると、奥行き感が曖昧になり、糸の物質感は消え、映像や現象を観ているような感覚を味わう。
